The Conceipt of this boo

There are always difficult people around us.

Can we change their personality or behavior patterns?

It is impossible to change someone’s personality, and it is better to accept that we cannot change people’s behavior patterns.

There are various skills for handling difficult people in meetings and projects.

First, we need to learn the basic skills for handling them, and then we should try to find useful techniques in our daily lives and create our own way of handling them.

Facilitators only need to navigate meetings successfully and do not need to be educators or therapists.

However, it is important for them to be a leader who can have a positive influence on others and be a person of good character.

There are various ways to handle difficult people in meetings, but it does not always work out perfectly.

We have introduced some typical ways of dealing with problem children, which are based on my many years of experience, but they may not apply to everyone.

Finally, the lesson is that the 12 types of “monsters” we have discussed may not be someone else’s problem.

In fact, the line between those who play the role of “caterpillar” and those who play the role of “butterfly” in the meeting room is thin.

Do you have any of these “monsters” lurking in your own heart?

As a facilitator trainer, I sometimes find myself playing the role of “caterpillar” when I am on the members’ side of the meeting, which is a scary thought.

Therefore, we need to think of these 12 tips as “how not to become a monster.”

I remember a story I read somewhere that goes like this:

Two caterpillars were talking on a leaf.

Suddenly, there was a loud flapping sound, and a beautiful white butterfly was gracefully flying above them.

One caterpillar murmured to the other,

“They look so cool. If only we could do that too.”
